“That week in Honduras was an unforgettable chapter of my life I’ll never forget. It has opened my eyes and given a taste to the good, bad, and ugly realities of the outside world… away from this safe and secluded bubble that I have been living in for so long. Despite my occasional reads in global matter and involvement in local community work, there were so many things in Central America that had caught me by surprise and redefined my very perspective of the world.”
– Jonathan Lee, UCSD student and PHB volunteer
