Texture is most evident where dark meets light on the turning edge and at the outer edge. Experience has taught us to assume that the areas in between have similar features. – Rex Brandt (watercolor painter)
Our assignment for week two was to visit the Jardin Botanical, that beautiful green oasis in the middle of the Quito, and take photos of textures. They keep repeating the mantra “photography is all about light” and I’m slowing understanding this truth.
