On my whole trip across the high Andean deserts, it was pretty much impossible to take a bad photo, so here are a few more I would love to share.
Light from the sunrise hitting the red soil hills of the high bolivian desert. the tiny white dots in the distance are llamas
I have never see a place that has absolutely no plant growth.
Mist rising from the hot springs in the early morning light
We got up at 4:30am to make it to the hotsprings for sunrise. It was absolutely freezing, but then it was well worth the effort.
Outside of this old mining town, are entire lengths of abandoned trains, forming a bizarre train cemetery
Traveling across the desert, you could see unbroken views until the earth touches the sky
Occasionally the smooth sands were broken by the strangest rock formations.
